Coffee Grinds

We were looking for a quick drink and snack and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Their smoothies are some of the best on the Big Island, Hawaii, and the chicken quesadilla was delicious. There's plenty of parking, and seating is available both inside and outside. They also sell a variety of unique items like cotton bags, t-shirts, photos of Hindu gods, drinkware, tumblers, and other fun showcase pieces. Just a heads-up: if you're looking for a restroom, there's a portable toilet to the right of the building—handy to know since restrooms can be limited in the area.

Absolutely wonderful service and fantastic tasting coffee. Strong, perfectly made, great size for what we wanted. Plus the guy is from our area originally. Id recommend this to everyone who loves coffee as much as us.

This is an amazing breakfast spot! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious, I love spam. And the coffee is great too! They use coffee ice cubes, so when it melts it doesn't get watered down, which is awesome. The staff upfront is great and so are the cooks! And it's crazy affordable!! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll for sure go back here.

Clean place, friendly service, and the food was amazing! I had been to three different disappointing breakfasts this last week and I finally was smiling ear to ear because I got a good breakfast from here! I will definitely always be coming back! The chai was amazing too!

This place is da bomb! It way exceeded my expectations. I'm vegetarian, so I was pleased to try their veggie wrap. I added avocado and their homemade balsamic dressing. It was so flavorful! I loved the way the hummus was seasoned with curry. I also tried Thai iced tea for the first time. It was sweet, creamy, spicy and refreshing. I was told that it was their special homemade recipe. Service was friendly and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Can't recommend enough. I really wish this business well, it's definitely what Ocean View needs!

Got the biscuits and gravy and ala carte eggs over easy. Very good, came out pretty fast. Good place for homemade breakfast.

Loved this place! Perfect stop on our way from two steps snorkeling to the volcanoes national park. The food was super good and reasonably priced. The coffee was delicious and my iced latte even came with coffee ice cubes! The owner lady was super sweet and worked quickly. We loved Coffee Grinds!

A great little stop with a wildly extensive range of sandwiches, wraps, with coffees and teas. Prices were pretty fair for the island. service was fast and friendly. Recommended.
